Hi:

Your notebook is only supported for the W10 operating system.

The wifi adapter won't work on W7 unless you remove it and mask a couple of the contacts.

See this discussion...Markk1979's post...

Here is the link to the service manual...or you can install W10.

I was able to get W10 x64 by clicking on the blue Update Now button and it activated.

Thank you very much, I read, but did not understand how to disguise these contacts

You're very welcome.

Here is a picture of what the wifi card looks like (see below).

I have never done this before but according to what Mark posted, you remove the card, you turn the card upside down and count from the edge furthest away from the 2 notches, count nine pins in and then mask off the next 2 pins that should be 54 and 56.

So since this picture is not upside down, here is what I think...

On the left side of the picture, you count in 9 pins.  Then you mask the next two pins with some tape.

So the way I see it it looks like this....the XX are the two pins you cover (mask) with tape.

IIIIIIIIIXXII-IIII-IIII

Thank you very much, I will do and write the answer, do this procedure install windows 7? or no difference, thanks again for such a detailed answer

Anytime.

You only need to do this with W7.

So, if you just had W7 and didn't want to pay for W10, connect via ethernet and try the free upgrade to W10.

The card will work fine with W10 without modification.
