Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Since my laptop was no longer able to run windows 10, I installed windows 7. However, I cannot find neither ethernet nor wifi drivers on the hp page or on anywhere else. Can you please help me?

Hi:

Here is the link to the ethernet driver you need for W7:

Realtek Local Area Network (LAN) Driver

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp69501-70000/sp69625.exe

I don't know what model Wi-Fi adapter HP installed in your notebook.

It's either a Broadcom or Realtek card.

Go to the device manager.

When a Wi-Fi card needs a driver, there will be a device labeled as a Network Controller in the device manager.

Find the Network Controller device and post the hardware ID for it so I can figure out what driver it needs.

Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device:

How to Find Drivers for Unknown Devices in the Device Manager (howtogeek.com)

You can find the W7 drivers for your notebook at the link below:

HP 15-g200 Notebook PC series Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support

After you get connected to the internet, download and install Microsoft Edge for W7 so you have a decent browser as Internet Explorer has been retired by Microsoft.

Download Microsoft Edge
