Hi there,
I tried to replace wifi card on my HP 348 G7. The built-in card was Realtek RTL8822CE 802.11ac.
I bought an intel ax201 card and replaced the old one. But the card couldn't start properly. I got code 43 and 10(sometime) when check the Device Status. Then I have to re-install the Realtek and it's working.
I tried to uninstall the driver + device, installing latest driver from intel for ax201.
Do you know what was the problem here?
- My laptop isn't compatible with the card?
- The card was corrupt.

Hi:
The Intel AX201 is a CNVI card and you can only install one of those as a replacement if your notebook originally came with one.
More info on CNVI Wi-Fi cards. None of the ones on the list would work in your notebook.
What Are the Intel® Integrated Connectivity (CNVi) and Companion...
Since your notebook came with the Realtek RTL8822CE that is why the AX201 doesn't work even though HP indicates it is a supported card for your notebook according to the specs.
I recommend that you try this model card which I believe would work in your notebook:
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro HP part #/SPS# L35282-005
Make sure you get a card that matches the HP part number/SPS number.
