Hi, I purchased an HP 430 wireless mouse a week back and its drag click is not working properly. When I press the left button and drag the mouse with button clicked, it leaves the dragging action in between. It happens randomly & frequently. I've noticed that when I keep pressing the button and reduce very little pressure from it (but still keep it pressed), the issue is more visible. It happens with the right click drag too but less frequently.
Also, I'm not able to add this product in my profile, the HP's website does not recognize its serial number. This is stopping me to contact support too.
Please help with this.
Product number: 3B4Q2AA
Region: India
Thanks.
Palash V.
Edit: Forgot to mention, I'm using HP accessory center (HPAC) software. And I've seen this issue on two laptops I frequently switch between.

Hi@palashver,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!
I see you are experiencing issues with the HP 430 Mouse and not able register the product. It could be a hardware issue on the Mouse.
As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to contact our HP Support Engineers and should be able to sort this out.
Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options.

Thanks Dilip for the suggestions.
I contacted HP technical support by call today and they told me that serial numbers for mouse, keyboards etc. cannot be searched through HP's Support website, and for any issues with these devices & warranty claims, the customer will have to get in touch with an HP service center directly. So, I called my nearest center for warranty registration but they said that for any issues or warranty claims, the customer will have to physically visit the center with the invoice and the device, and there is no separate warranty registration process for them.
Although the problem with my mouse is still exists, I'm holding off the visit to the center for now and will rethink this later.

Also, one request from me if you could pass on this message to someone who manages the software & features of this community portal - Please add a separate Board option for these kind of accessories on the 'Create a post' option, all the options present in the select menu are only for printers, laptops or desktops. I had to create this post under a Notebooks' topic because of the same issue.
Thanks.
