HP Elitebook 8470p
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I installed all the network drivers, including novatel mobile , sierra mobile, broadcom bluetooth, ericssson mobile broadband.

But, when the HP Connection Manager (the newest version) is running, the program is not showing installed in the device SIM Card.

Hi:

Does your notebook have a WWAN card?

They all have a SIM card slot, but hardly any came with a WWAN card, which is required to make the SIM card work.

What I see in your screen shot tells me your notebook does not have the WWAN card.

I have one device that I don't know details.

Is it possible it's the device?

Hi:

it could be.

Please use this guide to find the hardware ID for the 'Primary system device' so I can figure out what driver it needs.

Additionaly I checked the price for the modem 3G.

In the region I live used modems 3G are in the affordable price

That's good, but make sure that your notebook has the antennas present where the WWAN card plugs into.

Also you can only use one of the WWAN cards listed in the service manual for your notebook, and they must have the HP part number on them or they will not work.

Here is the link to the service manual...chapter 3 has the list of supported WWAN cards with their HP part numbers, and chapter 4 has the wwan card R & R procedures.
