HP Recommended

I  just dug up an old Dell VAIO laptop. it runs Windows 7, but will do basic stuff. I have an HP DeskJet 2722 connected to it wirelessly and it printed fine until recently, when it "somehow"  got disconnected! (I didnt do it...!) and I can't seem to get it reconnected. I  have the printer and computer hooked up with a USB cable but I can't even get that to work.  HELP!
