Product: HP EliteBook 845 G8
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Greetings, we have bought a batch of HP EliteBook 845 G8 and i've been tasked with getting them ready for work. We use Windows Deployment Toolkit to prepare all of our computers and only do manual installs if there are only a few pcs.

 

The issue i have ran into is that the adapters we have are not detected by the notebook when you go into boot menu (F9 menu). Weirdest thing is that these adapters work fine with EliteBook 845 G7, ProBook 455 G6/G7/G8, ProBook 450 G7/G8, EliteOne G5/G8, EliteDesk G4/G5, Dell Optiplex 5060/5070 and others.

 

Adapters that are being used:

Lenovo ThinkPad USB 3.0 Ethernet Adapter, Model RTL8153

Lenovo USB-C To Ethernet Adapter, Model RTL8153-04

HP branded adapters cost an arm and a leg compared to these models.

 

Running out of ideas here, really don't want to to sysprep and clone them one by one.
