Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Envy M7 notebook is getting older and my wireless Intel AC 7250 card may be showing signs of becoming defective (went from 867 Mbps down to 234 Mbps)

 

I want to replace the wireless Intel AC 7250 card with a wireless Intel AC 8265, is this possible?

What is your HP Envy M7 machine ? Before 1915, HP had a restriction in BIOS called whitelist to stop users to update wifi adapters outside the list.
