Hi

I purchased an Alogic Universal Twin HD USB-C Docking Station which I was told would be able to charge my laptop.

When I connected the USB-C upstream from the dock to my laptop, it does not charge.

The charger that came with my laptop works fine through the USB-C port but when I connect the one from the dock to the laptop, it doesn't work.

The specs of your machine is

           https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_8083741-8083790-16

It comes with  65 W USB Type-C® power adapter. Are you sure your Alogic Universal Twin HD USB-C Docking Station is compatible with your machine and it has enough power to charge your machine ?

Please remember: NOT all USB-C ports are the same.

Regards.

Hi

I've checked the Alogic website and it says that the dock is equipped with 85W power for charging laptops via its USB-C upstream port.
