HP Folio 9470m SIM card option use

I have HP Folio 9470m Laptop. though it has SIM slot option beneath the battery compartment i have installed sim in it. But dont how to use the sim option. im using this laptop In pakistan.Kindly confirm that can i use sim option in pakistan. and from where can download its software.though i downloaded the software of Erricson  from Hp.com. but i cant get any option in windows for it.Im using windows 7 professional edition..

Hi,

SIM card alone won't work. You need a WWAN card to go with it. Page #2 and #3 of the following manual will show you which card you need:

 The manuals shows 4 different types of card.Jus wanted to know which type of card would go with the laptop im using.and are these cards coutry or network carrier dependent or they are just plug n play type.the laptop im using is
