Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista

Please help.... my HP G60 will not connect to the internet at all, it keeps saying there is a problem with the modem or adapter, it advises me to disconnect my modem, I have done this and it still will not connect to the internet. I have also set the laptop back to factory settings but this did not help and I still get the same message as above. This is really beyond my skills and would really appreciate some advice from someone who can help, thank you in advance.

See if updating the wifi driver to this version and restarting the PC, resolves the problem...
