I'm working on a HP Pavilion G7-2243us
Wifi speeds too slow. Current wifi adapter is quite outdated.
G7 specs...
Product: B5Z58UA#ABA
Serial: [personal info removed]
AMD-4500m
Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 wifi adapter
This wifi card appears to be single band with a maximum speed of 150 mbps and no bluetooth
I'd like to install dual band wifi card and give this G7 a significant speed boost.
Greatly appreciate if anyone out there give me some recommendations and links to a compatible wifi network card to this G7-2243us

No dual band Wi-Fi cards were offered in the g7-22xx model series.
If you want to experiment with a dual band card, this would be the best one you could try:
Broadcom BCM4352 802.11ac 2x2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0 combo HP part # 724935-001
It should have a decent chance of working.
You can find this model card on eBay. Search by the HP part number, not the model of the Wi-Fi card.
