elitebook 1030 G2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
 

Hello everyone,

I'm currently running an elitebook 1020 G3 with Windows 10 on it. 

Every time i try to install the drivers i get error messages.

under device manager it says "device cannot start (code 10)"

also doesnt work under linux...

any ideas?

i have the same issue on a 1040 g3 win10 64-bit. i've tried a bunch of different things but no luck.

to correct this issue i removed the wwan module then put it in place. just follow the machine's service guide. when we powered up the machine everything was back to normal. i did this to a few machines. also found out reimaging a machine corrected the issue. so i'm not sure if this was caused by a windows update and or a combination of the hp supplied driver. this issue happened to a small percentage of our machines. hp support recommended replacing the part. hope this saves time for others having this same problem.
