Hi Jaubi, it was on a Bell forum. Just as an aside note, it’s sometimes simple settings in a router. My isp doesn’t use IPv6 in my old wifi6 ax router having this set screwed everything up. 90% of users said it was crap. I used it for eight years without one drop out. Getting 74/18 from 80 down 20 up contract. With that router I never changed drivers and I went through every setting line by line to make sure it was set properly.
This rambling might just point you to something. It’s certainly a puzzle. The Bell forum was interesting, with a lot of complaints, ( no WiFi 6e ). Regards Al

Hello Al-Dorri,

Quick update, as I still not succeed to connect with my laptop to 6Ghz band, I bought a wifi 6E usb wifi card to validate the modem side.

And it worked well with the USB key. So it's not the modem for sure right now.

Do you have any other idea ?

Hi Jaubi, the only things I can think of is defective WiFi card or aerial connections. A few screws on the back and you can see the ax211 card and aerial. If it’s under warranty, take it to a HP service centre, to check. If it works fine in 2.4 and 5, it’s probably the card wants looking at. Regards Al.

Hi Jaubi. You keep saying modem. Have you entered the router side using 192.168.2.1 username admin, password admin. If you have and already checked the settings fine. The modem connects your isp. The router side does the WiFi and Ethernet. Regards Al

Hello Al-Dorri,

Thank you for your help.

Yes I have connected to the modem directly (192.168.2.1) to set settings. I have also called Bell to check if everything is good with modem settings. Everything's fine. I have also I tried to install more than 12 differents drivers. But it still does not work :(.

So I have opened a support request with HP to send my laptop to be repaired.

Let you know if I have some updates.

Hello Jaubi, good to hear things are moving forward. Let’s hope they find something. That will be the simple solution after all the work you have put in. Best wishes Al.
