Hi:
SIM cards don't need a driver.
Apparently, your notebook doesn't have the optional WWAN card you need to connect to cellular service.
HP Pro x2 612 G2 Specifications | HP® Customer Support
In order to connect to the cellular service your notebook must have one of the two Broadband wireless networking devices that are listed in the specs page:
HP hs3210 WW HSPA+ Mobile Broadband
or
HP lt4120 LTE/EV-DO/HSPA+ Gobi 4G Mobile Broadband
If your notebook has one of those two devices, they would be listed in the device manager under the Network Adapters device manager category.
Be alert for scammers posting fake support phone numbers and/or email addresses on the community.
