Hello to everyone!
I have an HP Pavilion 15 p029TX with an old Broadcom BCM43142 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi Adapter, and I would upgrade it with the newest compatible adapter, wifi 5 or 6.
Is there anything I can buy that is compatible? I am in Europe, so any shop/amazon in Europe would be ideal.
Thank you very much for your help!

Your machine was built around 2014, due to the whitelist, you won't be able to change to newer internal wifi adapter.
You have 2 options
- Allow your router to broadcast DUAL bands which are 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz. Your machine can see 2.4GHz net work and allow you to connect
- Buy an external adapter such as (highly recommended)
https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Networking/Adapters/67965-USB-AC53-NANO
or similar, it will pick up 5.0GHz networks and allow you to connect
Regards.
