Was given a HP Paviilion G series laptop (G6 as indicated underneath battery area) by someone spring cleaning their home. The operating system of this device appears as Windows 7 Home Premium (64 Bit). Tried to select my product on this website, but my product number is not being accepted. I'm trying to use this laptop features, such accessing the web, maybe download Microsoft Edge and etc but I keep coming across issues like Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage or seems like wifi isn't connected. Can someone help me please (or point me in the right direction to resolve this).

What is your HP Paviilion G machine ? Please use the following way to find out the model/product of your machine

I was having "known trouble" with my new pavilion laptop for the last several weeks. I just had to go to HP downloads, Driver-Network, and had to download the Mediatek wireless LAN driver (Jan 27, 2022 update) because my Wifi kept dropping out. Not sure if this will fix your problem.
