Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have an HP Pavilion g7-1150us with a Wireless adapter ralink ra5390. This adapter gets really hot, when I opened the back of the laptop, i found that the plastic holding the adapter melted from the heat. 

F.Y.I, the adapter stopped working and I need to replace it with a better one,

Will this one work for me : HP Broadcom 4313gn 802.11b/g/n 1x1 WiFi 20702 Bluetooth 4.0 Combo Adapter?

please help!
