Product: Pavilion DV6 2190us
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I want to buy Intel 7260ac wireless card but seller said some HP laptops has a BIOS whitelist. Does my laptop has a whitelist? What are whitelisted cards? Any BIOS update without whitelist?

Hi:
The only wifi card that will work in your model is the one in there now.
A whitelist is a restriction in the BIOS that only permits certain wifi cards to work.
If you want to upgrade to a dual band AC wifi adapter, you will need to purchase a USB one.
