I was recently given an HP Pavillion Entertainment, model number dv7-3188cl, for me to use for a class in school by my uncle. Prior to recovery all hardware was working perfectly fine. My uncle wanted me to reset the computer so we used the recovery discs which successfully wiped the hard drive but then refused to reinstall the operating system. Instead of getting another set of recovery discs I used a Windows 7 install disc to reinstall the OS and it did so successfully with one flaw, the laptop will not connect to the internet.
I have tried plugging it in through ethernet and it wont find my WiFi network. I suspect its missing a driver and checked for drivers on the HP website but it said there were none. Any advice would be greatly appreciated and if there are any drivers for it I would be greatful if you could to tell me where to download them from.
Thanks in advance.
Update: After some searching Intel had the correct driver needed.
