HP Spectre
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The problem is that the mouse says that it is PAIRED within the Bluetooth setting on the computer, but it does not work, i.e., it is stuck on the screen and will not move.  The only way I can get it to work is to go bluetooth settings, turn off and on until I see movement of cursor, which has to be done most of the times

@Anish27

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

  • Have you tried HP Spectre Bluetooth Mouse 510 on different devices or computer?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?
  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?

While you respond to that, let's try this workaround:

  1. In Windows, search for and open Device Manager.
  2. In the list of devices, expand the device you want to update.
  3. Right-click the device and then select Update driver or Update driver software.
  4. Click Search automatically for updated driver software. ( before you start disconnect all Bluetooth device from the computer)

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
