I have an HP Spectre x360 bl model laptop. I’m having problem with my Bluetooth connection. I saw that my Wifi Bluetooth card (Intel 8265NGW) there’s only one antenna connected to it, but there’s two black wire with a connector. Do both need to be connected?

Also, I want to know if I can upgrade that card to a more recent one with more recent Wifi and Bluetooth connection. Some suggest Intel AX210. There’s something more recent compatible?

Yes, you need to have both wires connected to the Intel 8265NGW Wi-Fi card.

The auxiliary terminal on the card is mainly for Bluetooth reception.

Is the card removable?

You didn't specify the full model number or product number of your PC and some of those HP Spectre notebooks have Wi-Fi cards that are integral parts of the motherboard.

Also if the Intel AX210 Wi-Fi adapter is not listed in the service manual as a supported card (which I doubt it is), then any other card you install would be an experiment on your part.

No one here can tell you with 100% certainty if a different model card will work.

Yes, the card is removable with a screw.

Here’s a link to the actual card model 8265.

There’s chance that a card with the same slot pin connection will do the work?

HP Recommended

Any M.2 wifi card is going to fit in the slot.

It just depends on if the BIOS has any restrictions on what card(s) it will accept and since there is no info on that other than the general 'most HP notebooks made in 2014 or later don't have BIOS whitelists.' that is really all I can say on that.

You just have to hope that whatever card you select will work.

These are the 3 cards with the HP part numbers/Intel SPS numbers that have the best chances of working:

Wi-Fi 7:

Intel BE200 M.2 2230 Wi-Fi 7 + Bluetooth 5.4 non-vPro WW WLAN module   HP part # N39883-005

Wi-Fi 6E:

Intel AX210 Wi-Fi 6E 2x2 AX + Bluetooth 5.2 M.2 2230 non-vPro   HP part # / SPS # M27269-005

Wi-Fi 6:

Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro 160 MHz PCI-e + USB WW with 2 antenna(s)   HP part # L35282-005
