I have a HP Stream   model 13-c002dx  unable to connect to the internet using wifi.

The parts list for your notebook indicates that it comes with a Realtek RT8723BE 802.11bgn 1x1 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 combination adapter.

 

HP PartSurfer

 

The only suggestion I can offer would be to install the latest Wi-Fi driver for W8.1 that HP has for that model Wi-Fi adapter:

 

Realtek RTL8xxx Series Wireless LAN Drivers

 

2023.79.619.2018
