I have a HP Stream Laptop11 with WIndows 10 Home (64bit) and it won't connect to specifically to T-Mobile Home Internet, but it will connect to my phone when it acts as a mobile hotspot (also through T-mobile). I have tried updating the driver and I also tried using an USB Wifi adapter to try to connect and the network won't show up. I tried manually entering the information and it won't register. Is there any advice on connecting to this network? I know the wifi does work on comcast, and like I mentioned my phone as a hot spot but it won't connect to T-Mobile's home internet.

Sounds like your machine supports 2.4GHz networks and your T-Mobile router broadcasts 5.0GHz. Please allow your router to broadcasts BOTH bands. Your machine then can "see" 2.4 GHz SSID and allow you to connect.

Thank you for the reply; that is what I also thought. I tried setting up two different  2.4 connections and deleted the 5G connection and neither network shown up on the Notebook. Is there a setting within the notebook that I should look in to?
