Why does HP Web Product Detection only work if device is wireless or connected to the web by a usb and not when using ethernet to connect to the web?

I want the check your current system configuration.

 

(1) Run    msinfo32

- Select <System Summary>:

--->>> copy/paste to following key/value pairs:

 

OS Name

Version

System Model

System SKU ( equals HP product number (p/n) )

BIOS Version/Date

 

(2) Start windows <device manager>

- Expand <Network adapters>

--->>> Send screenshot

The detection is purely browser-based, so it should work with any Internet-enabled network device. As long as you can access the page it should work. Test it with different browsers (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, ... )
