My "Wireless Assistant" keeps turning "on and off" for some unknown reason. When it turns "off", I loose my internet connection (Internet Connection Light) on my keyboard turns "orange". I will depress the "orange" internet connection light and it turns "blue", and I again have an internet connection.
What is causing this ?????
I checked that my wireless device and it has the most up-to-date drivers. Yet this "on & off" condition is still happening.
I went into "Task Manager" and disabled the "Wireless Assistant" at startup of my computer, and everything seems to work OK. No "on & off" issues with my connection and it seems to run at about the same speed.
I guess my questions are:
1. How to I fix this "Wireless Assistant" issue?
2. Or do I just keep it disabled at startup?
3. Is there any advantage to utilizing the "Wireless Assistant"?

Hi:
I highly recommend you uninstall the HP wireless assistant software, as it is not compatible with W10.
As a matter of fact, I am surprised it is working at all.
If your notebook comes with built in bluetooth, make sure you turn on the wireless and bluetooth radios using the wireless assistant before uninstalling the software.
There is no advantage to using the HPWA with W10.
Windows 10 has built in software features to turn the BT on or off, and airplane mode to turn off the wireless.
