I purchased two new HP computers. This one has Wolf security; the other does not. The both are Win11. My download speed for Win10 computers on the same subnet is 500Mbps and upload is also 500Mbps. The other new computer gets about 160Mbps down and 300Mbps up. (It's a cheaper computer, so I'll figure out why it's slow later.) The Zbook gets about 500Mbps down, but between 6Mbps and 20Mbps upload. After much searching, I can only conclude it must be related to HP Wolf security since the other brand new computer gets much better upload speed. I have been trying to bring the computers up, installing my normal software packages which primarily include MS Office.
How can I turn off Wolf to confirm that is the problem? Any other suggestions for what might be causing this order-of-magnitude slowdown? What is unique to Zbook? My older Zbook with Win10 gets 500/500 regularly. I really expected this computer to be much faster than the older one.
