@Fusion2025, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP printer not connecting to HP Doctor!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If HP Print and Scan Doctor is not connecting with your HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e All-in-One Printer, try these steps to troubleshoot:
Check Printer Connection
For USB Connection:
- Unplug and replug the USB cable.
- Try a different USB port on your PC.
- Restart both the printer and the computer.
For Wi-Fi Connection:
- Make sure your printer and PC are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Restart your router and printer.
- Print a Wireless Test Report:
- On the printer’s control panel, go to Settings → Wireless → Print Wireless Test Report.
- Check for connection errors.
Restart HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Close HP Print and Scan Doctor.
- Right-click and run it as Administrator.
- Try reconnecting.
Set Printer as Default
- Go to
Win + I
→ Devices → Printers & scanners. - Select your printer → Manage → Click Set as default.
Check HP Smart App
- Install HP Smart from the Microsoft Store.
- Open HP Smart and try adding your printer.
Update Printer Drivers
- Go to HP Support → Search for HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e.
- Download and install the latest drivers.
Reset Printer & Reconnect
- On your printer, go to Setup → Restore Defaults → Confirm reset.
- Reconnect the printer to Wi-Fi or USB.
Let me know what happens at each step so we can troubleshoot further! 😊
Take care, and have an amazing day!
