i was checking icons, in taskbar, and found this icon/software, and am wondering if this was INCLUDED with teh HP Mini, OR, if not, where it came from?
it is called UnifiedREmoteService, and it is in the path of
C:\Program Files (x86)\Unified Remote 3
I cannot find much info online about it other than it is some type of network software.
i found one link that said microsoft included this but it was only one or two sentencences that said that.
any info appreciated, thanks
ADDENDUM, solved - i actualy installed this - it is a server app that resides on computer, and a companion app gets installed on android/apple phone, to remotely control the computer as a mouse/keyboard. then, i can cast my home video's, from computer screen, toTV, and sit in living room and watch photos/videos of family events, and remotely control the cmputer, change what is viewed, etc. i did not have enough cofee this morning to remember this.....
