Product: HP 2000 Notebook PC (D1E01UA#ABA)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

My HP 2000 laptop does not detect my wifi on Motorola C Plus Hotspot. While my other phones & my Lenovo laptop can detect & connect to the same hotspot on my Moto C Plus phone.

However the HP 2000 laptop can detect WiFi Hotspots on other phones (Samsung, Xiomi)

Do I need to install any driver or change any configuration? Please help.

Can your machine see the Motorola C Plus Hotspot ? If NOT, please allow your Motorola C Plus Hotspot to broadcast 2.4 HGz because your HP 2000 can't see 5.0 GHz from your Motorola C Plus Hotspot.

Firstly, thanks a lot for your quick help. Please can you also help me to make my Motorola C Plus Hotspot to broadcast 2.4 HGz? I am not able to find any options, it is running on Android 7.0

 

Would help a lot if you can guide me.

But the MotorolaC Plus specs say that the WiFi is 802.11 b/g/n (2.4Ghz)
