I realised I can't find the Bluetooth option anywhere on my laptop, yet other versions of the same laptop do have Bluetooth. One of the solutions on this site was to enable it from the BIOS menu, but I can't find a Bluetooth option in the BIOS menu. How do I find it?

Machines of the series support the following Wifi adapters

  • Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2 x 2) WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2 combo (vPro)
  • Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2 x 2) WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2 combo (non-vPro)
  • Intel Wireless-AC 3165 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (1 x 1) WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 combo (non-vPro)
All of them have Bluetooth option.  Which one is on your machine ? You can check in Device Manager.

Regards.

This one might be one of the first two, though I'm unsure which one it is. Either way, while it's installed and updated to the latest version, I still can't seem to find the Bluetooth option in settings.
