It has   Integrated Bluetooth 4.0 and Wireless LAN 802.11b/g/n featuring 2.4 GHz 1 x 1 technology wifi adapter now. You can use 5GHz wifi adapter. Your machine is nearly 10 years old now therefore quick and easy is to use the following adapter

Thank you, yes, I never realised how old it was until exploring this.  It has been very good.  I will explore the adapter and let you know how it goes.
