Hi:

 

The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if this W8 Realtek wifi driver works on your model's newer M.2 wifi adapter.

 

sp66924.exe (hp.com)

 

If not, you will need to connect via ethernet adapter or USB wifi adapter and get the free upgrade to W8.1 from the Microsoft store in order for the wifi to work.
