Drear HP forum members,

I own a 240 Bluetooth Mouse, which was connected to a notebook that no longer works unfortunately.

I have a new notebook now and would like to connect the 240 Bluetooth Mouse - but there is no pairing button and I don't know how to put it in in pairing mode!

So, how do I trigger pairing mode at the 240 Bluetooth Mouse?

I already searched the web and the HP support page without result.

Any help is highly appreciated!

Thanks a lot!
Michael

Here is the solution to reset and re-pair the mouse:
- turn it off
- keep pressed the middle (wheel) and right buttons
- turn it on
- release buttons after 5 seconds
- the mouse LED is blinking fast, indicating reset
- turn it off and then back on
- the LED is blinking more slowly indicating pairing mode
- the computer will now see it in the ”Add a Bluetooth device” and it will pair.
