When I turned on the computer out of the box it has a line across the WiFi symbol and when I click on it it says WiFi turned off. When I click to move the button to turn it on it stays for a second and goes back to off. This Chromebook is refurbished. I’m trying to set it up for my 8 year old son for Christmas. Help!

I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to put that in the product line. I’ve never filled this out before. As for my problem, my HP14 Chromebook showed a line across the WiFi symbol each time it was turned on. After much research I finally found out how to do a system reset to factory settings to power wash the system. I did a control+alt+shift+r to get to system reset then chose the power wash option and when the system came back up the line was not across the WiFi symbol and I was able to set up the computer. Thank you so much for replying to my post.
