My HP Envy Notebook will successfully pair and connect via bluetooth to both my bose QC35 headphones and my JBL Charge3 however when I play sounds the sound will come out of my laptops speakers instead of the connected device.
How do i fix this?

Make sure that the sound output selected correctly. If you are using JBL make sure sound output is selected as JBL

Hi,
Please try
(a) Right click speaker icon,
(b) Select Playback devices,
(c) Enable Bluetooth sound.
Regards.

Thank you for the response. When I open up the bluetooth device list in my devices setting menu, right clicking on the speaker icon doesn't do anything. Where is the speaker icon that you were referring too?

Speaker icon will be at the right bottom corner.
