Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Long story short, had to reinstall windows fresh on my hp Compaq NC6400. Running windows 10 pro 64bit. Due to where I live I am very limited on internet connections. My internet connection is metered, and due to all of the updates, I'm maxed out. I have always been able to use my iPhone 12 mini as a WIFI hotspot for extra data. My computer will not connect to my iPhone hotspot. It recognizes the network, I type the password and it states "can't connect to this network" . The craziest part of this ordeal is that I can connect my iPhone as a hotspot to ANY other computer that I have tried without any trouble. As a matter of fact I am using my iPhone as a hotspot on another PC in my house and I have connected the NC6400 to that PC's hotspot, and that's where I'm typing this message. My NC6400 wireless adapter will connect to any other access point except my iPhone so far, I've tried 3 other routers.

I’m still having this same problem. Hp says it’s out of warranty, of course it is, is old! The wireless adapter is an Intel (R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection. I’ve tried contacting intel, and they don’t want to help because it’s been discontinued. I really feel like it’s a driver issue, but if anyone could help, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks
