Hp Spectre Bluetooth Mouse 700 (rechargeable)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought a Hp Spectre Bluetooth Mouse 700 (rechargeable) two days ago. As per manual instruction, I  recharged the mouse for 2 hours (I actually charged the mouse for around 5 hours). I used the mouse for  one day but the next day it just stopped working even if the Bluetooth Display shows 97% charged. Furthermore , the mouse Bluetooth Status showed  “Paired” instead of “Connected”. I removed the device on Bluetooth and tried reconnecting but it didn’t work. I recharged the mouse for around two hours and reconnected. Momentarily, it worked but after one hour it stopped working again. Can’t seem to figure out what the problem is. Can someone please help? Big thanks!

@rtz1070
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Have you tried connecting this mouse with other devices?
  • Have you tried with fresh new batteries?

Blinking: The device is in pairing or reconnecting mode. On (10 sec): The device has paired. Blinking (10 times): The device battery is low. Blinking (3 times): The resolution is set to 1600 dpi. Blinking (2 times): The resolution is set to 1300 dpi, the default. Blinking (1 time): The resolution is set to 1000 dpi.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
