HP Recommended

Hello,

I have two HP EliteBook 840 laptops from the 3rd generation, and the Bluetooth isn't working on one of them. Despite trying various solutions such as installing Bluetooth drivers and swapping the Wi-Fi card (both are Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260), none of these fixes worked for the second laptop. This confirmed that the Wi-Fi card itself is not the issue.

Upon checking the BIOS settings, I noticed that one laptop has a Bluetooth on/off option while the other does not. I considered updating the BIOS as a potential solution. However, my research revealed that others who faced similar issues and attempted BIOS updates did not succeed in fixing the problem.

I am now looking for any alternative methods that could help resolve the Bluetooth issue on the second laptop. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
