Greetings!

Welcome to the HP Support Community. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries. I have reviewed your post and I understand, the computer automatically switches to the "Airplane" mode.

This issue can occur due to various reasons like computer settings, updates, hardware issue,... are to name a few.

Don't worry, I'm here to help! To better assist you -

1) Were there any hardware or software changes made?

2) Have you tried any troubleshooting steps before posting here?

While you respond to that, let's begin with disabling the "Airplane" mode -

1) In Windows, search for and open Airplane mode.
The Network & Internet menu opens.
2) In the Network & Internet menu, turn on airplane mode by moving the airplane mode slider to On.
Wireless networks, mobile broadband, Bluetooth, and other connections are now disabled.
3) To verify airplane mode is on, check the taskbar for the airplane mode icon.
4) To turn airplane mode off, in Windows, search for and open Airplane mode.
5) Move the airplane mode slider to Off.

If the issue still persists, let's try these steps -

Step 1 Network Troubleshooter -

1) In the search box, type and open "Troubleshooter".
2) Click on "Network and Internet".
3) Click on "Internet Connections".

Step 2 Run Network commands -

1) In the search box on the taskbar, type Command prompt, press and hold (or right-click) Command prompt, and then select Run as administrator > Yes.
2) At the command prompt, run the following commands in the listed order, and then check to see if that fixes your connection problem:
Type netsh winsock reset and press Enter.
Type netsh int ip reset and press Enter.
Type ipconfig /release and press Enter.
Type ipconfig /renew and press Enter.
Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.

Step 3 Re-install the Network Adapter -

1) In the search box on the taskbar, type Device Manager, and then select Device Manager from the list of results.
2) In Device Manager, select Network adapters > the network adapter name.
3) Right-click on the network adapter, and then select Uninstall device > Delete the driver software for this device check box > Uninstall.
4) Restart the computer.

Hope this helps!

Let me know how that goes.
