Hi @BigAnt7900,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your PC mirroring!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Check Network Connection:
- Ensure both your HP Pavilion laptop and Roku TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Screen mirroring requires both devices to be on the same network.
Enable Screen Mirroring on Roku TV:
- On your Roku TV, go to Settings > System > Screen Mirroring.
- Make sure Screen Mirroring Mode is set to Always allow or Prompt.
Update Drivers and Firmware:
- Ensure your laptop has the latest graphics drivers installed.
- Update your Roku TV to the latest firmware:
- Go to Settings > System > System Update.
Check Display Settings on HP Pavilion:
- Press Windows key + P on your laptop.
- Select Duplicate or Extend, depending on your preference.
- Choose Connect to a wireless display and select your Roku TV from the list.
Enable Miracast on HP Pavilion:
- Ensure your HP Pavilion supports Miracast:
- Open Command Prompt and type netsh wlan show drivers.
- Check for “Supported” under Wireless Display Supported.
- If not supported, use an HDMI cable or a wireless HDMI adapter.
Use the Connect App:
- Open the Connect App on your HP Pavilion (Press Windows key + S and type Connect).
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Roku TV.
Restart Devices:
- Restart both your HP Pavilion laptop and Roku TV. This can resolve many connectivity issues.
Troubleshoot Network:
- Reset your modem/router to refresh the network.
- Ensure your laptop has a stable internet connection.
I hope this helps.
