Hi @Raju092,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're stoked to have you on board!

To help us get started on resolving your issue, could you please share the model name of your device?

Need help finding your product number? We've got you covered! Check out this handy guide:

https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/ish_2039298-1862169-16

Meanwhile, try these steps.

Check Device Manager when the issue occurs

  • Right-click Start > Device Manager.
  • Expand Bluetooth.
  • Also check View > Show hidden devices.
  • Let us know whether the Bluetooth adapter is completely missing or appears with a warning/error such as Code 43 or Code 45. HP notes that Code 45 indicates that Windows is no longer detecting the device.

Check for a related USB device

  • Bluetooth on many laptops is connected through the system's internal USB interface.
  • When Bluetooth disappears, check Universal Serial Bus controllers in Device Manager for any device with a yellow warning icon.

Perform a power reset

  • Shut down the laptop.
  • Disconnect the AC adapter and all external devices.
  • Hold the Power button for about 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the AC adapter and start the laptop.
  • Check whether Bluetooth remains available. HP recommends a hardware reset for Bluetooth detection issues.

Run HP Hardware Diagnostics

  • Restart the laptop and repeatedly press Esc, then press F2.
  • Run the available hardware/network tests and check whether the wireless hardware is detected normally.

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

My laptop Model is  HP Pavilion Laptop 14-dv2xxx and I am getting this error in the device manager Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) I have a warning symbol on the bluetooth there is no warning symbol on the USB serial bus and already while I contacted microsoft team they have performed the tasks that you have metioned it worked fine for few days but still later I got the same issue still I am facing the same issue.

Hi,

Thank you for confirming the details.

Since your HP Pavilion 14-dv2xxx is showing Code 43 on the Bluetooth adapter, and restarting the notebook only restores Bluetooth temporarily, while the troubleshooting already performed by Microsoft worked only for a few days, this does not look like a simple driver installation issue.

Please try the following additional checks:

1. Check the Bluetooth adapter's power management

  • Open Device Manager.
  • Expand Bluetooth.
  • Right-click the MediaTek/Realtek Bluetooth adapter and select Properties.
  • If a Power Management tab is available, uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
  • Click OK and restart the notebook.

2. Check Windows power settings

  • Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options > Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings
  • Under Wireless Adapter Settings, if available, set the power-saving mode to Maximum Performance.

3. Check when Code 43 appears

The next time Bluetooth fails, please check whether the adapter still appears under Device Manager > Bluetooth with code 43 or whether it disappears completely.

Since a restart temporarily restores the adapter and the problem returns after the system has been running for some time, this distinction will be useful.

If Code 43 continues to return even after these checks, please share the exact product number of the Pavilion 14-dv2xxx and the Bluetooth adapter name shown in Device Manager. We can then check the correct configuration and determine the next step rather than repeatedly reinstalling the driver.

Take care and have an amazing day!
