@arya89, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
The error code 43 in Device Manager indicates that Windows has stopped your Bluetooth device because it has reported a problem. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and hopefully resolve the issue:
Steps to Resolve Error Code 43:
Restart the Computer:
- Sometimes, simply restarting your computer can resolve temporary issues with hardware devices.
Check Device Connections:
- Ensure that all connections to the Bluetooth adapter are secure. If it is an internal adapter, check for any loose wires or connectors.
Update or Reinstall Drivers:
- Open Device Manager, find your Qualcomm Atheros AR3011 Bluetooth Adapter, and double-click it to access its properties.
- Go to the "Driver" tab and try updating the driver. If no updates are available, you might consider uninstalling the driver and then reinstalling it.
Roll Back Driver:
- If the issue started after a recent driver update, you can try rolling back the driver by selecting “Roll Back Driver” in the Driver tab.
Use Windows Troubleshooter:
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot. Select Bluetooth and run the troubleshooter to see if Windows can automatically detect and fix the problem.
Check Device Status:
- In Device Manager, make sure there's no conflict with other hardware devices. You might see a yellow triangle if there's a conflict.
Disable Power Saving Settings:
- Go to Device Manager, right-click the Bluetooth adapter, and select Properties. Navigate to the "Power Management" tab and deselect "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."
Check for Windows Updates:
- Ensure your Windows operating system is up to date as updates can include patches for known issues
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
