Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have HP Notebook - 14q-cs0017tu laptop that has 2.4ghz wifi band. I am wondering if I can upgrade the pci wifi adapter to dual band 2.4ghz/5ghz + bluetooth. Is it possible to upgrade the wifi pci adapter to support 5 GHz band in this model ? If yes, which internal card should be purchased and from which online platform?

You can upgrade the Realtek RTL8723DE Wi-Fi adapter to this dual band AC model:

 

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter   HP part #  L17365-005

The part number on the card on Amazon will work too.

It's a pretty common model Wi-Fi card, so you may be able to get one for less money at a local PC repair shop.

 

It does work fine on W11 too.
