Hi @Greg7772,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP ENVY Photo 7155 All-In-One Printer might be experiencing connectivity issues, which could be affecting its ability to copy documents. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you troubleshoot the problem.

Check Printer Connection

  • Ensure Wireless Connectivity: Confirm that the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer or mobile device. You can check this by printing a network configuration page from the printer's control panel.
  • Reconnect to Wi-Fi: If the printer is not connected, you may need to reconnect it to your Wi-Fi network. Access the printer's settings from the control panel, select Wi-Fi settings, and follow the prompts to reconnect.

Restart Devices

  • Power Cycle Printer: Turn off the printer, wait for about 30 seconds, then turn it back on.
  • Restart Router: Sometimes, restarting your router can help resolve connectivity issues.
  • Restart Computer/Mobile Device: Ensure that the device you are using to print or copy is also restarted.

Update Printer Firmware

  • Check for Updates: Go to the HP website or use the HP Smart app to check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Updating the firmware can fix bugs and improve connectivity.

Check HP Smart App

  • Open HP Smart App: If you have the HP Smart app installed on your computer or mobile device, open it and check the printer status.
  • Reconnect Printer: If the app indicates a connection issue, follow the instructions to reconnect the printer.

Perform a Network Reset

  • Reset Network Settings: On the printer's control panel, navigate to the network settings and perform a network reset. After resetting, reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

Verify Copy Settings

  • Check Copy Settings: Ensure that the printer’s copy settings are correctly configured. Make sure you’ve selected the correct copy options (e.g., color or black and white, number of copies) and that the document is properly placed on the scanner glass.

Printer Software

  • Reinstall Printer Software: Uninstall the existing printer software from your computer and reinstall it. This can sometimes resolve issues related to communication between the printer and the computer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
