@Shavin, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

This issue could occur if the network drivers are not updated.

Let's go through a few steps to resolve this issue.

Install updates using HP Support Assistant

  1. In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
  2. Check for updates.
  3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.

Check for any pending Windows update. Reboot the PC if required.

Use Windows Network Troubleshooter

  • Use the Network troubleshooter. Select Start  > Settings  > Network & Internet > Status. Under Change your network settings, select Network troubleshooter.
  • Make sure Wi-Fi is on. Select Start  > Settings  > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi. Next, select Show available networks, and if a network you expect to see appears in the list, select it, then select Connect
  • See if you can use the Wi-Fi to get to websites from a different device. If you can’t, restart your modem, router, and device, and re-connect to the Wi-Fi.

Also, you may update the bios from the link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers

Let me know how this goes.
