Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hi.

I need a help. I want to install a bluetooth driver for my laptop (PC). Please help me getting a bluetooth driver.

There's not even an option in my pc settings. I guess it's missing due to something.Screenshot (1).png

OS: Windows 8.1 Professional (64-bit)

Product name: HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC

Product number: J6L68PA#ACJ

Also I need a wifi driver for my pc, even I have an adapter installed (in-built) but it doesn't work and still heats alot. Help me with this also if you can. In the same screenshot you can see that the wifi option is also missing.

Hi, @Techzeno21 Your laptop is the HP 15-r035tu Notebook PC.

You can download the compatible drivers for both Bluetooth and WI-FI here.

Sir, I'd like to ask you for replacing the link you gave me for getting wifi adapter, because it is showing error.Screenshot (2).png

Yep, you're right.

I had to go to the actual source of the driver file on the HP ftp site.

I tested it and it downloaded fine for me.

Thanks again sir! I appreciate the efforts you made for me. but still I've ended up with with problems.

About Bluetooth:

Still bluetooth option is not available in my pc.

The alternative image would show you the results.

About Wifi Adapter;

It shows an error of (We couldn't find wireless devices on this PC)

In the same image you would see this.

Please help me a little bit more.Screenshot (4).png

You're very welcome.

Since those are the correct drivers, and you indicated earlier that the Ralink card is getting very hot (which is a known issue, sometimes even melting the case near the card).   I think the Ralink wifi card has burnt out.

Hopefully, the wifi card slot hasn't been damaged and the electrical connection to the card is lost.

I recommend that you replace the Ralink wifi card with this model...

Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11bgn 1×1 + BT 4 LE Combo Adapter  HP part # 753077-001

You should be able to find the card on eBay.  Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.

Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the wifi card removal and replacement procedure.

c04409502.pdf (hp.com)

Your other option would be to remove the Ralink Wi-Fi card, insulate the antenna connector with electrical tape so the metal doesn't make contact with the motherboard, and buy a USB dual band Wi-Fi/Bluetooth adapter.

Something like this...

AUSHA ® Mini USB Bluetooth WiFi Adapter, 600Mbps Dual Band 2.4/5Ghz Wireless Network External Receiv...
