Hi:

What is the full model number or product number of your notebook?

The product number can be found on the same label as the serial number.

Please do not post the serial number.

Hi:

Below is the link to the parts list for your notebook.

http://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=E8A12UA

It comes with a Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11bg/n 1x1 WiFi adapter, which is not a combination wifi/bluetooth adapter.

If you want to add bluetooth networking to your PC, as well as upgrade the wifi card to a dual band AC model, it is easy enough to do for your model.

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0    HP Part # 710661-001

The card is readily available on eBay or Amazon, and doesn't cost much at all $20 -$25.

Do your search by the HP part number, not by the model number of the wireless card.

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.   The wifi card R & R procedures can be found in chapter 5.

It is pretty easy to change the wifi adapter in your model.

Otherwise, your only other option would be to purchase an external USB bluetooth adapter such as this one...
