Hello,
I've been trying to fix a reocurring issue with my HP Spectre x360. The problem being that while playing Rainbow 6 Siege I get lag spikes which kick me from the game. The Spikes occur in other games but Siege -- unlike other games -- kicks you from the server/ match when your ping gets too high. At first I thought this was an issue with using college Wifi. However, my roommate recently starting playing the game with me, and on his lower end computer he expierences no spikes at all. When I tried playing on different Wifi I still expierenced the issue.
I've searched around the internet for a solution and found nothing. I installed HP Assisstant and updated all of my drivers. I also ran 'Component Test' on the 'Wireless Module' in the UEFI amoung other test. Everything passed. I then contacted HP support through a live chat and over the course of a few hours the man helping me repeated everything I had tried including looking for updates and reinstalling drivers, but all to no avail.
I'm fairly certain this is a computer issue as I did find a page in a League of Legends forums of a man who also has an HP Spectre x360 15t which expierences somewhat random lag spikes even when everyone else on the Wifi is fine.
I love my computer and primarily bought it for school and some light weight gaming. But I am a bit frustrated by this issue since lower end laptops aren't having the same problems.
I've noticed some patterns with the spikes but nothing substantial. Generally, I can play for ~20 minutes before I get kicked (sometimes longer) but after it happens once it'll begin to happen more frequently until I can't complete a round of Siege without being kicked.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks =).

I also went through the detailed description of what steps you tried, and didn't work out.
In this case, I would suggest you that, we could try performing a complete system recovery, but please take a back up of the data since it will take it back to the factory settings.
Follow this link for steps to perform system recovery.

About a week ago I posted that your reccomendation had fixed the issue. This week however the issue returned. It only happened once a fw days ago so I wasn't concerned, but now it's happening as frequently as it use to. To be clear, it seems the problem has returned. I don't know if storage or disk space is somehow effecting my antenna or what. But it seems the longer I attempt to play games the worse the issue becomes.
