Hello was wondering if there's a chance that of replacing my current Realtek RTL8821CE (that is working flawlessly) with another WiFi 6E mini pcie card. Checked on ebay and found a few of them but they mention that there aren't compatible with HP laptops. Is this a driver issue?
And if that's the case are you aware of any compatible cards that I could buy?
Thanks in advance

Hi:
The problem you would have is that any Wi-Fi 6E card requires two antenna wires to be connected to the Wi-Fi card and your notebook only comes with one antenna wire.
So, unless you order the dual antenna kit listed in chapter 3 of your notebook's maintenance & service guide and completely disassemble the notebook including the display panel to properly run a second antenna wire, upgrading the Wi-Fi card is not a good option.

If you want to go through all that trouble, if your notebook has an Intel processor, you should be able to install this model card and part number:
